The start.
When i was still following comupter science i met a guy who later became a really good friend of mine. He is a backend developer and as i had done a lot of HTML and CSS in school (because that was the thing i enjoyed the most) we sometimes helped eachother in our own project. I did some graphic design work for him and he some programming for me. As of recently we decided to join forces and start a company together, Everygraphic!
What we do and how we do it.
Everygraphic is a company that builds and maintains websites for small businesses. We believe in working closely with our clients to create something that not only looks good and works well but truly fits what they’re looking for. To kick things off, we have a relaxed conversation about their brand and goals, which we record to make sure we understand everything clearly. We also use a simple questionnaire to cover all the basics before we get started. Once the site is live, the client gets a one-year contract that includes a set number of hours for small updates. We also guarantee 100% uptime and make sure their website stays online and accessible.
After having done this we start with a concept. We start looking for the most effective solutions for their problems and setup a base website using shapes, colors and basic functionality. As we want to maintain transprant to the client we show them this process and ask them for feedback along the way. This also means giving advise about what works and what doesnt. If needed we also do graphic work like creating logos, banners and editing their photos.
Ra Events
Out first client was someone who wanted to start a party-electornic rental business and needed a website withing 2-3 weeks (which is crazy...). We decided as this was our first project to try and meet this hard deadline. We programmed the website from skratch using HTML, CSS, javascript using the Astro plugin and for collabiration we used GitHub. We focused on the functionality and base layout first following the provided style the client wanted, clean, minimal and simple.

Required Functionality:
- Dedicated Home, Contact, and About pages.
- A carousel showcasing popular products.
- A product library with “More Info” and “Book” buttons for each item.
- A pop-up window displaying additional product details.
- An order contact form where customers can select a product and enter their details. The client receives this information via email and can follow up to discuss options.
- Integrated social media links and a Frequently Asked Questions section.
- An About page with background information about the company.
- A consistent header and footer across all pages.
Conclusion
We finished this website within 4 weeks. and learned a lot about talking and handeling a client. As the client was lacking in content the website feels a little empty now so we have been requested to update this aspect of the website in the future. Building this website has greatly increased my knowledge of web programming and everything related with launching and maintaining a website. This allowed me to also program this portfolio page from skratch! We are currently working on our second project. A website for a medium size skin and beauty care business.
